Kathleen, I have seen the freedom fighter mentality you wrote of. There are many battle fronts in the "wars" of life. Most are important. None are mutually exclusive. I loved your line: "truth is not fragile". We humans are. I have every confidence in the biblically based truths I hold but I have no corner on the truth. Some of what I believe could be wrong. But not all of it. My beliefs don't preclude that I must be on the very same page in life as everyone else in order to have a positive impact in my sphere of influence.

This paragraph: "Love, freedom, truth and courage have no problem standing tall in a room filled with differing opinions -- in a room inhabited by the partially blind, partially deaf humans who all seek greater understanding of what this place is all about and why we are here." In the midst of that room and outside of it absolute truth will always prevail.

Thank you, Kathleen, for always making me think.

Thanks, Alicia for the insightful comments.

You said, "It seems to me that they are trying to form cult-like-thinking where the leaders and members of the cult will cause you pain and suffering, or shame you, to "stay in line" in order to advance their agenda."

That's exactly what they are doing.

And thanks for sharing the links. People from many walks of life, religions, political arenas, etc. are waking up in their own way, on their own turfs so to speak.
