Individual people are separate from governments or organizations. A government, religion, organization...etc. can be corrupt, but it doesn't mean that each individual is corrupt.
We need to get out of the collective mindset (we, us,...) and think individually. We are each individually responsible for our own actions, and the first thing we should think is: "First, do no harm."
